Before we begin

I am delighted and honoured to welcome you to your virtual personal session of The Beautiful Art of Letting Go

This intimate class is designed to be a safe, supportive space that allows you an opportunity to take a deep breath, be vulnerable,  explore and express your beauty – and ultimately let go (if even only for an hour or so).

I will be with you, sharing, guiding and supporting you the entire time.

Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, you will learn to appreciate your perfectly imperfect form and, hopefully, see yourself as the masterpiece you are.

what you will need

This is an explorative and expressive ‘art class’ in which we use makeup as our creative medium.

It is approximately 1 – 1.5 hours (depending on the number of participants).

You will require the follow to participate in the session.

  • A good quality internet connection and laptop or desktop.
  • Skincare (any kind of cleanser, cotton pads – preferably reusable ones –   and face oil or moisturiser)
  • A variety of ‘mark-making’ makeup items* (eg: lipsticks, eyeliners & lip pencils, concealers, foundations, wet/dry eyeshadows and some makeup brushes)
  •  A camera or smartphone.
  • An open heart and mind

During the session, you will photograph yourself to capture your “artwork”, which serves as a reminder of the incredible masterpiece you are.

* You can use any brand of product you have available. There is no need to purchase any new items of cosmetics to attend this class. Use only what you have (or what you can borrow from friends or family if you don’t own any makeup).

How to prepare

Please spend a little time thinking about the following three questions prior to our session:

  1. What does beauty mean to me?
  2. What does beauty look like to me?
  3. When do I feel the most beautiful?

Any questions, concerns or to reschedule, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
